Tenth Annual Christmas Concert and Food Drive. An evening of Christmas favourites and other popular music with some of the finest musicians in Montreal. Featuring The Mimosa Wind Ensemble and The 306 (Maple Leaf) Wing Pipes and Drums. Thursday, December 15th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $10.00 in advance ($15.00 at the door) plus one non-perishable food item. All profits will be used to buy food for local Dorval families through Dorval Community Aid. Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

Café Redrum (A Caribbean Murder Mystery Dinner) is Dorval-Strathmore United Church’s annual Fundraiser this year. It is a tropical comedy/thriller written and directed by Steve Gillam. Only 2 performances May 7th and May 14th at 6:30pm. Held at 310 Brookhaven (corner Carson) in Dorval. Church services are held every Sunday morning at 10:00am. All are welcome!

United Church Women (UCW) meetings are starting again. Unit 13 will meet after the Service on Sunday, September 5th. New members are always welcome.

FundScrip will begin again on September 5th. Buy gift cards for tons of stores in our area through the Church and FundScrip will give a percentage of the sales to the Church. It's a great way for us to raise money and the buyer loses nothing!

The new Church Directory will be done on September 30, October 1 and October 2nd. Sign-up for your photo session starting September 5th. A telephone committee will be contacting all members and adherents of the Church to make sure no one is left out!

Garage Sale and BBQ

Dorval-Strathmore United Church will be hosting a Garage Sale on the Church lawn on Saturday, June 12th from 9:00 to 2:30. Support the work of the Church by buying fabulously priced treasures and books and all kinds of other nifty items. While you are there have lunch at the BBQ. Movie Night for Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life

Movie Night in support of Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Saturday, May 29th at 7:00pm. Enjoy a movie and a free popcorn to raise money for a great cause – to eradicate cancer. Phantom of the O'pry - another DSUC Players Production

This year's production is a hilarious spoof of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera written by Tim Kelly. Take a walk back in time to Skunk Creek's only opera house and let the laugh's begin. Tickets are $25 ($20 for students and seniors).
